The Sirius SUP-H1 universal plug 'n' play home kit comes with everything you need to play your Sportster 3, Sportster 4, Starmate 3, Starmate 4, and Stratus satellite radio receiver through your home stereo speakers. The kit is designed around a handy mounting cradle, which holds your receiver in a single easy-to-access location. Just slide your Sirius receiver into the cradle and rest it on a tabletop, desk, bookshelf, or entertainment center. Once the receiver is mounted, users have two listening options: they can rely on the receiver's built-in FM transmitter, or they can run the included RCA audio cable between the cradle's audio output and the stereo. The latter option delivers a better overall sound, but is slightly more cumbersome. The bundled antenna, meanwhile, is fully weatherproof, so you can install it indoors or outdoors depending on where the satellite signal is strongest. Finally, the kit comes with an AC adapter that powers your Sirius receiver and a spacer for the docking station (required for the non- Sportster models). In sum, the kit delivers access to more than 130 streams of original Sirius programming beamed coast to coast, including 65 streams of commercial-free, digital-quality music, along with multiple news, talk, sports, entertainment, and children's stations. Product arrived in a timely manner and was very easy to set up. This product is great because it works with the older models of Sirius Radios so we can use the one we already own for the car and home.

There seems to be some confusion regarding which model to select,the SUPH1,the SCHDOC1 or the SCHDOC1P.
The SUPH1 connects via the Minijack-to-RCA cable which runs from the cradle's audio output to the stereo input.
The only difference between the next two packages that I have found is that the SCHDOC1 comes with a DIN 8-pin cable vs. the SCHDOC1P which comes with a RS232 cable.These are both in the SiriusConnect category.If your receiver has neither type of input choose the Sirius SUPH1.
Of note is that choosing the SCHDOC1 will render your Sirius radio functions inoperable.I am not aware if the same is true for the SCHDOC1P.Tuning will be directly through the connected receiver.You will not be able to change stations or pause,rewind,etc.through the radio.I have deducted one star from my initial rating for that reason since that was not included in the product information.
You may want to check the latest information from the Sirius website before choosing any package. They seem to introduce new home docking kits fairly often.
I have chosen the Sirius SCHDOC1 Connect Home Dock home base for my Sony STR-DA2400ES receiver.The connections were effortless.
I have not had sufficient time to grade the Sirius SCHDOC1's performance as yet.

For years we have struggled with radio reception at our shop. It's a metal building so the built in antennas didn't do much good. Now that we have sirius all stations come in great and we love the variety of stations. Of course we have an outdoor antenna but that didn't seem worth it with regular radio stations. We're so glad we upgraded to Sirius Radio.

The ONLY thing I dont like about the home dock is that it shuts off the FM transmitter on my Sportster 5... Has to be hooked up through aux out
