Works as advertised although the self adhesive tape they included wasnt sticky enough. Go buy self adhesive tape from Home Depot to ensure a good connection. I mounted to the underside of the garage door motor which is a plastic case.

Don't bother with this. Where it is good at the start, the laser became quite dim very quickly and i just ripped it down and threw it away. A complete waste of $20. I now have a very high tech ball at the end of a string hanging from my garage ceiling--total cost less than $1.00.

I have 2 of these and need to buy a 3rd for my teenage sons car. I've had the other 2 for 4 years and they have never let me down. I tried the floor one before, but it slid around.

Installed in 5 minutes. Works perfectly. Even with a 7 year old slamming the door into the house regularly, the device stays aligned. Cost half of what I paid for the rubber pad (dual speed bump) we used to have on the floor (and had to move and clean all the time)

Works great. Easy to install. Sensor turns laser off quickly so electricity is not wasted. Easy to aim and adjust.
I'm glad I purchased it.
